QUALITY & ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGER - MAJOR T&D PROJECT - ENERGY INFRASTRUCTURE - ELECTRICAL TRANSMISSION - HIGH VOLTAGE - MADRID / SPAINLocation: Tres Cantos, Madrid – HybridWorking Pattern: 2 days office / 3 days remoteContract: Long Term Opportunity, January 2027 – December 2030Travel: Occasional travel within Spain, including Castellón and Alcúdia, MallorcaSector: Energy / Electrical TransmissionTHE OPPORTUNITYAn opportunity for a Quality & Environmental Manager to support the delivery of a major long-term energy infrastructure project in Spain.Operating as a core member of the project team, you will take responsibility for coordinating and delivering Quality and Environmental activities across engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESAct as the primary contact for all project Quality and Environmental matters.Develop and manage Project Q&E Plans, KPIs and performance reporting.Maintain compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and all contractual, regulatory and internal requirements.Coordinate Q&E delivery across engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning.Manage project risks, environmental impacts, non-conformities, investigations and corrective actions.Lead internal, external and supplier audits while coordinating with clients, subcontractors and authorities.Support site-based Q&E personnel and drive continuous improvement, lessons learned and best-practice sharing.REQUIREMENTSDegree in Engineering, Environmental Sciences or a related discipline.At least three years Quality and Environmental experience within project environments.Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.Experience within energy, industrial or construction projects.Experience conducting audits and managing risks, non-conformities and corrective actions.Basic Level qualification in Occupational Risk Prevention.Professional fluency in Spanish and English.Strong stakeholder-management and communication skills.The assignment offers long-term continuity through to December 2030, a hybrid working arrangement in Madrid and involvement throughout the complete project lifecycle.If you would like to play a key role working on an iconic energy infrastructure project, please apply to the advert or send your CV to roman.floyd@hunterphilips.com
