Hunter Philips was founded in 2019 by Philip Cottam, whose recruitment career began in 2005. With nearly two decades of experience and an extensive global network of executive-level professionals, Philip brought a strong foundation and vision to the business - positioning it from day one as a specialist in the renewable energy market.
From its inception, Hunter Philips has experienced consistent growth. A key milestone came in 2021 with the appointment of a permanent Director, Garry Rogerson, who brought over 20 years of hands-on experience in the renewable energy sector. This strategic hire deepened our leadership expertise, further enhancing our credibility and capability as a trusted global partner. As the business evolved, the leadership team expanded to include two additional directors, enabling the formation of clearly defined divisions within the company to better serve our growing client base.
In 2023, we launched our Contract Solutions division - an important step in diversifying our service offering. Led by a dedicated Managing Director, Adam Standley, with deep sector knowledge, the division was built to deliver flexible, high-quality talent solutions to clients worldwide. With established offices and teams in seven countries and having successfully enabled placements in over 40 markets globally, our contract team brings a truly international perspective and a practical understanding of the renewable energy landscape.
