Construction Manager / Client-Side Site Manager - Solar PV - Highlands County, Florida (On-Site) - Contract (1-2 Years)
We are currently supporting a leading renewable energy generator in the appointment of a Construction Manager to oversee the on-site delivery of a utility-scale Solar PV (100MW+) project in the Highlands County, Florida.
This position will act as the client’s on-site representative, providing oversight of the EPC contractor and ensuring that construction activities are delivered in line with programme, quality, and local law.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the client’s on-site representative, overseeing day-to-day construction activities
- Monitor EPC contractor performance across programme, quality, and HSE
- Validate progress, reporting, and commercial claims from the contractor
- Ensure all works are delivered in line with permits, consents, and regulatory requirements
- Identify and escalate risks, delays, or deviations from agreed scope
- Provide regular updates to the wider project team
- Interface with contractors, subcontractors, and local authorities as required
- Support early-phase mobilisation and remain engaged through to project completion
Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven experience delivering utility-scale Solar PV or renewable energy projects
- Background in Construction Management, Site Management, or similar on-site leadership roles
- Strong understanding of EPC project delivery and contractor oversight
- Experience working on the contractor/EPC side is highly desirable
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to operate independently and represent the client professionally on site

- Contract Length: 1-2 years
- Location: Highlands County, Florida, USA (on-site presence required with some remote flexibility)
- Start Date: June 2026
- Working Pattern: Approximately 4 days per week on site
- Engagement: Contract
