The role: Seeking an experienced Permitting Manager to lead and manage all permitting and regulatory activities for a growing portfolio of utility-scale BESS projects.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end permitting processes for BESS projects in Italy and Europe.
- Prepare, submit, and manage applications for required approvals.
- Liaise with local and national authorities, utilities, and internal teams.
- Track progress and ensure projects meet permitting timelines and standards.
- Support due diligence, documentation, and project development activities.
The ideal person:
- Degree in Environmental Engineering, Urban Planning, or Energy Systems.
- 3+ experience in permitting or regulatory management within renewables or infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of Italian permitting frameworks and environmental regulations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent in Italian and English, proactive, and well-organised.
